The appliance concept

Running a sophisticated application on a workstation, even a high range one, is convenient but is often deceiving in term of installation complexity, sustained performance and administration. These are the reasons for introducing the appliance concept. We optimize the application for a given dedicated hardware/OS configuration and we install it in a box, the Wild Node, designed to run in an office environment.

Wild Node plug and play solution comes as an “application in a box” that simply connects to a desktop computer, lets the latter manage the day to day work and concentrates on the engineer’s favorite application.

To sum up, a technological high end appliance with our partner’s optimized software, connected to a normal desktop with everyday programs running as usual. Wild Systems offers a solution combining performance and autonomy without transforming the engineer into a supercomputer specialist.
