Pierre FIORINI, Chairman & CEO.  Pierre spent seven years in the venture industry as board member and CTO of I-Source Gestion, a venture company specialized in the areas of production and distribution of broadcast and multimedia content, as well as consumer electronics and telecommunications. Before this position, he had occupied several management positions in R&D activities both in government laboratories (MoD and Industry) and financing agencies. Pierre has a PhD in Computer Science.

Emmanuel CHIVA, Deputy CEO. Emmanuel spent 10 years as a Vice-President for MASA, a company specialized in training simulations and wargaming, for defense and homeland security. Co-founder and director of MASA Asia Pacific Pte Ltd (in Singapore) and a reserve Lt-Commander in the French Navy, Emmanuel is a member of several industrial associations, and an expert for the European Community in the field of complexity sciences. Emmanuel has a MSc in Biology and a PhD in Biomathematics.

Jacques DUYSENS, director of simulation activities. Jacques’s expertise is recognized by the systems engineering community. He graduated from the Liège (Belgium) University in Electrical and Mechanical Engineering as well as in Aerospace Engineering. Before joining HPC Project, he was VP and CTO at C-S (Communication & Systems). He was involved in modeling and simulation activities as well as High Performance Computing and Virtual Reality in Aeronautics, Energy and Manufacturing industries. Before that he was with Renault (mechanical department) and with GDTech France (a subsidiary of the Belgian ISV Samtech) he established in France and managed during four years.

Olivia FIORINI, CFO. Graduated from ESCP Europe(French Business School), after an experience of 10 years in the Financial Department and the IT Department of 2 International Industry Companies (PPG, Henkel), Olivia has beenCorporate Financial Controller and later Chief Financial Officer in several IT start-up companies during the last 10 years (INTEGRA, KXEN, SKYRECON SYSTEMS).

Loic GERNIGON, Technical operational expert. Loic Gernigon is a former Lieutenant-Colonel of the French Army. An expert in simulation, he started his career as deputy officer for operation and training, in the first armored cavalry regiment, then became the head of the technical/tactical training & simulation center at the French Armored Cavalry school (EAABC). He then occupied several positions: simulation officer at EAABC, manager of a JANUS training center, then military advisor for the technical expertise directorate of the MoD. Before joining HPC Project, LTC Gernigon was technical operation expert for RUAG Electronics.

Ronan KERYELL, CSO. Ronan was associate professor in the Computer Science research center of the MINES ParisTech Grande École and in the Telecom Bretagne Grande École. Ronan is a specialist in high performance computing, compilation, computer architecture and security. He is member of the PIPS project, keystone of the code analysis and automatic parallelization tools of HPC Project. Ronan is graduated from École Normale Supérieure in Paris with a MSc in Computer Architecture and a PhD in Computer Science.

Vincent LAPORTE, Product Manager. Vincent is a graphic products and multimedia specialist. He started his career at the head of the software products department of CISI the Atomic Energy Center computing subsidiary. He is the creator at the head of PIXIBOX and MediaPEGS of successful production software for 2D and 3D animation. Vincent has an engineering degree in Mechanics and Physics and a computer science degree from ESE (Supelec).

Roger MARHUENDA, VP Marketing. Roger is a specialist in corporate strategy, product strategy and sales. He began his career as European product marketing director, then Business development Manager for Hewlett-Packard. He next introduced Apollo network graphical workstations in France, before being a director of several companies in the field of software engineering: CADRE, Verilog… Roger has a MSc in Theoretical Physics.

Thierry PORCHER, CTO. During 15 years, Thierry held several positions in the supercomputing field for Defense laboratories: French MoD then CEA/DAM (military applications directorate of the French Atomic Energy Authority). Until recently, Thierry was in charge of managing the national supercomputing resource center (CINES) of the French universities. He’s an expert in supercomputing, parallel computing and artificial intelligence and has a Master in Computer Science.

Olivier ROZENKRANC, VP Product Management. Olivier has a proven track record of over 7 years of professional consulting experience and 20 years in software and network development. His professional achievements include multiple versions of Business Objects (Olivier was one of the first lead-programmer of Business Objects), multiple versions of DataCaptor from Capsule Technologie,… and more than 20 software and books. He’s an expert in quality & agile methodologies in software publishing.

Patrick SALIOU, VP Sales. Patrick is an experienced sales manager who started his career as a manager for Cisigraph and Computer Vision. He then became Sales Manager for SDRC before joining SAS as Account Manager. He stayed 8 years before becoming Southern Europe Account Manager for Platform Computing, with the mission to develop grid computing business for financial organizations. Patrick has an engineering degree in Mechanics and Physics.
